Coop Himmelb(l)au practice wins the first prize for the Museum of Contemporary Art and Planning Exhibition design competition.
The Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA) and the Planning Exhibition (PE) are joined together to create an ‘Urban Monolith’ by a large metal sculpture sheltering a skybridge beneath a flared glass overhang, to serves as an urban attractor and performs as a dynamic element in the city of Shenzhen’s new urban center.
