Coca-Cola Beatbox

Coca-Cola has unveiled a building in the London 2012 Olympic Park that can be played like a musical instrument. Designed by London-based architectural duo Pernilla Ohrstedt and Asif Khan, Coca-Cola Beatbox features more than 200 plastic air cushions that contain different sounds.

Inspired from Coca-Cola Move to the Beat™ campaign, it will enable people to play the Pavilion through interacting with sounds embedded within the architecture of the building. They will be able to create their own beat for London 2012 by remixing the sounds of Olympic sports, captured by Grammy award-winning music producer Mark Ronson as he travelled the globe to create “Anywhere In The World”, Coca?Cola’s song for London 2012.
