Designed by Chinese practice DUO in collaboration with China National Sports Group, Jingzhou Sports Center includes a gymnasium, aquatic facility and training center in a tri-fold arrangement that is linked with a roof canopy, this canopy wraps the perimeter of the building creating open-air and shaded courtyards for outdoor events, which merges both cultural and functional entities at one interactive design.
